  1. What is your name?
    Psalms Frye
  2. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am from Chicago. I moved to Rochester when I married my husband 12 years ago. We have 5 children that I homeschool. I am a doula and I do placenta encapsulation. My hobbies include traveling, trying new foods, and reading about parenting. One of the coolest things I’ve done is went skydiving for my 40th birthday!
  3. What do you enjoy most about the outdoors? Things, hobbies, activities, etc. Tell us more about why you love it!
Things I love about the outdoors is seeing various animals, plants, and discovering new things about our world with my kids. We love traveling to State and National Parks each year. This year we visited the Grand Canyon.
  4. What is one of your favorite memories of experiencing the outdoors? What were the challenges? How did it benefit you?
One of my favorite memories of being outdoors is traveling to the Smokey Mountains last year with my husband and kids. We hiked to a cool waterfall. On the way back we saw a snake in a tree. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any bears. This trip definitely helped us with our ultimate goals of bonding as a family while taking homeschool outside the four walls of our home.
  5. What’s something you’d love to do more of outside?
I would love to do more adventurous activities outdoors. Soon, I’d like to go ziplining!
