Pop-up Pastries
There’s a new pop-up bakery in town. Sophia’s Pastries takes orders—usually before Wednesday—to pick up delicious bakery items in southeast Rochester on several Saturdays. Baker Denise Marie offers “grandma’s favorites” including a variety of cinnamon rolls, vanilla bean pastries, like crullers or brioche donuts, and an array of other donut flavors and types on a pop-up basis. Catch them before ordering closes for the week—often for $3 an item with a minimum order mentioned per dessert. Yum!

Young local artist Caracol is bringing a zine to Rochester. Unsure what a zine (zeen) is exactly? It’s a small-circulation, self-published work of original art and text.
