Every issue we put out is special, but this one? This one hits different.
When I sat down to think about this month’s theme, Women Who Change the World, I didn’t think of celebrities or CEOs. I thought of my mother. My friends. The women I’ve worked beside. The women I’ve mentored. The women who have mentored me.
I thought of the women who fight battles nobody sees. The ones who hold entire families together. The ones who pour into others while quietly patching up their own wounds. The ones who speak truth, hold space, and carry hope like it’s part of their DNA.
Changing the world doesn’t always look like a headline or a hashtag. Sometimes, it looks like showing up to a job you’re underpaid for because your kids depend on you. Sometimes, it’s standing up in a room where you weren’t invited but going anyway because your voice matters. Sometimes, it’s starting something from scratch because nobody else would.
There’s power in that. There’s beauty in that.
This issue is a celebration of that power. A tribute to the women who are not waiting to be chosen. They are choosing themselves. Women who lead. Women who nurture. Women who push boundaries and break ceilings. Women who get things done, not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary.
As you flip through these pages, I hope you see yourself reflected in the stories. I hope you feel the connection between your journey and the journeys shared here. I hope you’re reminded that you don’t need a certain title or status to change the world, you just need to be you, fully and unapologetically.
Because that? That’s where the magic is.
