- What is your name?
Chelsey Rose Mingone
Communications Coordinator at United Way of Olmsted County, Local Artist, and co-owner of Glass Hand Goods: an eclectic venture of handcrafted gifts and gratefully-dyed goods. I am an advocate for love, a steward of the Earth and I’m doing my best to live my life to the fullest through my expression of self and reminding others that we can create the spaces we want to see, live, and dance in – if we only take the time to notice that inspiration is all around us. That’s my true and full occupation. 🙂 <3
- Where are you from and where do you currently live?
I’ve lived in Minnesota my whole life; growing up in the Twin Cities, venturing to Winona for College, and starting my career in Rochester – It’s easy to say I love the Driftless region! Being that I have family in the cities and friends in Winona, my husband and I have settled down in Zumbrota – the perfect “middle-place” to raise our little family.
- What do you love about southeast Minnesota?
SE Minnesota is a hidden gem and it will forever have my heart! The first time I visited SE Minnesota it felt like a hug. I had never seen such rolling hills or bluffs before but I felt immediate comfort being surrounded by them. The beauty of its diverse landscape and limitless recreational opportunities have fed my hunger for adventure for nearly 15 years and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon!
