Where are you from and how long have you been in Rochester? I grew up in Rochester. I didn’t venture too far; I lived in La Crescent and also in Owatonna for a few years in my 20s but returned to raise my daughters here. My husband and I bought a house 2 minutes from where I grew up in Country Club Manor. 

What do you love about Rochester? It’s a big, small town, with some of the advantages of both. I love our history, of how the early residents rose up after the tornado and created hope out of tragedy. I appreciate the innovative spirit of our city and those who have left their mark – not only in heathcare, but also in business, education, art, and culture. I value our diversity, and the fact that, no matter what path you’re following or what your interests are, there seems to be something for everyone here. I love to travel, but I love coming back home again.
